Located on the shores of Guatemala’s beautiful Lake Atitlan and about 7 kilometers outside the village of Santiago Atitlan is Finca Xetuc – a ranch nestled in Mother Nature. Join us on a full-day tour and put your physical and mental abilities to the test, as we bring you on the Chuitenamet trek to discover the ancient Tzutuhil kingdom!
On this trek, you will hike to explore the location of the ancient Tzutuhil kingdom, and for archaeology lovers, you are in luck – you will have a chance to dig there for old pottery shards and discover for yourself what you can find. After all these hard work is done, you will then return to the ranch for a gourmet lunch. This hike will take a total of 5 hours, covering a full distance of 12 kilometers.
