This Lima Wine, Food, and Culture Tour was created to give travelers an authentic sense of the history, tradition, and flavors of Peruvian culture. It starts south of Lima, near the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, in the archeological complex of Pachacamac, where there is a pre-columbian citadel made of adobe, stone palaces, and temple pyramids. The Citadel of Pachacamac is known to be on of the most important centers of the Incan Empire.
After this we’ll travel into the Amazon and bask in the beautiful gardens of the private Casa Hacienda, located in the valley of Lurin. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the world of the Peruvian Paso Horse. You’ll be welcomed with a delicious Peruvian cocktail, as the show displays uniqueness of this Peruvian breed. You’ll also have the option to ride a Peruvian Paso horse, known to be the smoothest riding horse in the world. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a demonstration of the coastal dance of Peru, “Marinera”.
Last but not least, the table will be set for a delicious lunch, made from the produce from their organic farms, and paired with excellent wine.
