Spot Humpback Whales near the Pearl Islands Panama
On this Pearl Islands Panama Whale Watching Tour, navigate the warm waters off the Pacific coast of Panama and spot huge whales. Humpback whales migrate there every year, escaping the cold northern waters to mate or give birth. They are about 50 feet (15 meters) long and weigh 40 tons. As mammals, the whales have to come to the water’s surface about once every 40 minutes to breathe.
To see these beautiful animals, you’ll take a boat to “Las Perlas Archipelago” (the Pearl Islands), one of the world’s best places to observe Humpback whales between June and October. After enjoying the boat ride for a while, you will stop for lunch at Contadora Island, where you can swim at the beach.
