Day 1 – Visit San Luis Potosi Waterfalls
To start off your adventure, you will get to see some amazing San Luis Potosi waterfalls. First up is Minas Viejas, a 164-foot (50-meter) waterfall in the rainforest with colorful blue water. After that, you’ll get to see three more waterfalls: El Meco (115 feet/35 meters), El Salto (230 feet/70 meters), and El Toro (66 feet/20 meters).
Day 2 – Stroll in the Garden of Edward James and Admire the Large Huahuas Cave
First, you will visit the unique gardens of Edward James. This place has lovely concrete structures that were placed in the labyrinth of the gardens. The whole place has a surreal and dream-like feel. Then, you will stop by Xilitla Village for a traditional lunch. After that, you will explore the huge Huahuas Cave. This cave is 230 feet high (70 meters high) and 1,568 feet deep (478 meters deep). Observe the beautiful sunset and appreciate the birds that call the cave home.
Day 3 – Take a River Canoe, Swim in a Cave, and Discover Tamul Waterfall
Take a “pangas” (large canoe) upstream to Santa Maria’s 4th canyon to discover a warm cave with crystal-clear water. Then, take time to relax and swim in this magical place. Afterwards, go further upstream to the 344-foot-tall (105-meter-tall) Tamul Waterfall.
Day 4 – Discover “Bridge of God” Cave and Enjoy the Beautiful Tamasopo Waterfalls
You’ll be amazed by a rocky cave called Bridge of God. This mysterious place has stalactites and stalagmites and gorgeous blue water. Watch the sunlight trickle in and see how it makes patterns. Then, you will voyage deep in the rainforest to find Tamasopo Waterfalls. You will have time there to explore and swim.
