The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is home to over 500 species of birds, over 2,500 species of plants, 100 species of mammals, and 120 species of reptiles and amphibians. This includes the densest concentration of orchid species in the world! This Monteverde Cloud Forest tour begins at 6:00 am and is led by a bilingual naturalist guide, who can help you spot many species of birds, including potentially seeing quetzales and three-wattled bellbirds!
