Enjoy a beautiful sunset over Jaco beach after spending the day spotting all sorts of native wildlife in one of the most beautiful national parks in the world.
On this Manuel Antonio Beach and Wildlife Tour you will:
Manuel Antonio is a melting pot of eco-systems. This paradise boosts white sand beaches with evergreen forests that spill on to the beach right up to the high tide line. With your guide, explore primary forests, secondary forests, mangrove swamps, lagoons, and of course the stunning beaches! While this is the smallest national park in Costa Rica, there are over 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds! As well as 12 small islands off the coast where dolphins and whales can sometimes be spotted playing in the water.
Full day. 8:00 am – 16:00 pm.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Jaco Beach or Herradura by an English speaking guide. Enjoy a scenic one hour drive along the coast before reaching the national park. Your guide has been trained to spot things you would never see on your own. Most common sightings are White Faced monkeys, Howler monkeys, two and three toed sloths, deer, peccaries, raccoons, endangered Squirrel monkeys, reptiles, and lizards. There are also 4 beautifully pristine, white sand beaches to explore. Take a dip in the ocean or just relax on the beach. You will enjoy a delicious local lunch before heading back to Jaco Beach just in time for sunset.
Group size will be 2 – 8 people.
