Day 0 – Welcome and Briefing about the Rides
On our first day of our Colombia Cycling Tour, we will talk about the details of the rides while we enjoy typical Colombian food.

Day 1 – Bike to the Flowers Village of Santa Elena and Return to Medellin by Cable Car
Our tour starts with us riding to the Flowers Village in Santa Elena. One ride includes a well-known category 2 climb, a series of leg burning risers, and an endless supply of vertical, which together make for a unique riding destination year-round. After this, we will take the cable car down to Medellín.

Day 2 – Experience the Beauty of the Rio Claro Natural Reserve
You’ll start at 8,530 feet (2,600 meters) above sea level and then go down to 500 meters, passing through all the climatic zones and
vegetation. We will arrive at a natural reserve where we will have lunch and we can swim in the river. Our day ends with you resting in a beautiful room in the middle of the jungle.

Day 3 – Visit Honda, the “City of Bridges
We will ride to Honda, a beautiful historical town that gets its name from the Ondaimas, the indigenous people that inhabited the banks of the Magdalena River. Honda is called “the City of Bridges” with more than 40 of them on the Magdalena River. Enjoy this beautiful place while you prepare yourself for the next day’s big challenge.

Day 4 – Climb Alto de Letras Mountain by Bike
This is a big challenge day! We are going to ride the longest climb in the world. Don’t worry about water, granola bars, bananas or supplies; our support vehicle is ready to help at all times. Your effort will be rewarded with the amazing landscapes, little towns alongside the road, lush vegetation, and much more we will find on our way. After we’ve met our challenge, we will have a well-deserved relaxing moment in natural hot spring pools.

Day 5 – Discover Pereira in the Colombian Coffee Triangle
Pereira is one of the three cities that compose the Colombian Coffee Triangle. Like its neighboring cities, Armenia and Manizales, Pereira is surrounded by stunning, varied scenery and boasts incredible natural landscapes.

Day 6 – Experience the Traditional Village of Filandia
Set on highlands and surrounded by coffee plantations, this traditional village is known also as “The Illuminated Hill of the Andes,” where you can start several treks to waterfalls and rivers, tour coffee plantations, and more. Hop on a Yipao (typical jeep) and drive through beautiful scenery. Distance: 35 miles (56 km), Elevation Gain: 4,377 feet (1,334 m).

Day 7 – Stop by Salento, near the Cocora Valley
This small town survives on coffee production, trout farming and tourists who are drawn by its quaint streets, typical paisa architecture and its proximity to the spectacular Valle de Cocora.
