Day 1 — Explore Santiago
Today, get to know Chile’s capital city and home to over 1/3 of the country’s population! Learn about Chile’s past in the historic city center, take a cable car to the top of San Cristobal Hill and see Santiago from above, and enjoy dinner in the bohemian Bella Vista arts district.
Day 2 — Get Inspired in Valparaiso
Wake up early for this exciting day to Casablanca Valley and Valparaiso. Visit one of the region’s wineries and try a few local blends including a quintessential Chilean Carmenare. Continue onward to Valparaiso, where you’ll tour the colorful hills and quirky personality of Chile’s port city. Most exciting: ride the city’s famous 19th and 20th century outdoor funicular elevators, now national monuments!
Day 3 — Adventure in the Andes
Enjoy an adventure into the ubiquitous Andes Mountains! Due to weather conditions on the mountains, the details of this excursion will depend on the season. In the winter months, enjoy a road trip to the stunning Maipo Canyon and stop in at Embalse del Yeso for local food and wine tasting. In the summer season, visit El Morado National Park or Arenas Valley for a trekking excursion to see the the glacier! Relax in the naturally occurring San José Volcano hot springs before returning to Santiago.
