After being picked up from your hotel, you will go on a three-hour drive to the capital of Chile’s wine country: Santa Cruz. There, you will visit Viña Santa Cruz. Take a gondola (“teleférico”) to the top of Chaman Hill for fantastic 360-degree views of the vineyard and the countryside. After that, you will enjoy lunch (at your own expense) in Hotel Santa Cruz in the village’s main square, the Plaza de Armas.
During the afternoon, you will tour the historic Malbec Hall, gardens, and wine cellars of internationall-renowned Viu Manent Vineyard. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyard. You can also check out the wine shop and handicraft center. Finally, you’ll taste the vineyard’s best wines, including its famous Malbec.
