Itinerary

Begin your tour with hotel pick-up in San Pedro de Atacama and transfer to the park and nature preserve. Upon arrival, you’ll tour Laguna de Cejar for breathtaking views of the surrounding salt flats and volcanic mountains.

Next, jump in to Lake Piedra! Home to a massive salt deposit hidden below the turquoise water, the lake is highly salt-dense. Feel the water support you as you float effortlessly on the surface! Enjoy private changing and bathroom facilities on-site.

Travel onward to a very different and vital desert water source — the “Eyes of the Salt Flats” freshwater wells. These wells connect to deep underground freshwater deposits and provide essential and hard-to-find water to local communities.

End the day at Lake Tebinquinche, where you’ll enjoy a cheese platter and pisco sour cocktail as the sun sets over the horizon. Watch the sunset chance the white and turquoise landscape a spectacular deep pink and red. Return to the bus and arrive at your hotel by 20:30 pm.
