Sea kayak through the Straits of Magellan amid sea lions, dolphins and all kinds of birds to the lighthouse on Faro San Isidro. Local expert guides provide all the equipment and instruction, also pointing out the wildlife, scenery and customs of the Yaghan and Kaweshkar ancestors.

You will kayak the southernmost coast of the continent on the Strait of Magellan, connecting the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Oceans, as navigated by the Yaghan and Kaweshkar ancestors. The shores of Mount Tarn, as documented by explorer Charles Darwin, are inhabited by dolphins, sea lions, and birds such as cormorants, ducks, petrels, seagulls, skuas and pimpollos. Local guides provide equipment and give basic paddling, safety and rescue instructions.
07:00: Departure from Punta Arenas
08:00: Arrival in Bahia Voices (60 km south) – Kayak and safety instruction
08:30: Begin kayak journey passing beautiful bays and coastal forests, next head south of the Brunswick Peninsula towards the Faro San Isidro arriving at approximately 12:30. Lunch at the Lighthouse´s Inn.
13:30 Visit to the Lighthouse Museum followed by a short walk around the area.
14:00 Return to the lodge then kayak to Bahía Voces.
18:00 Arrive at Bahía Voces and for return to Punta Arenas at 19:00 aprox.
