This tour is a unique opportunity to spend some time with Mapuche people and know more about their history and life in today’s world.
Spend 2 days in a Mapuche community. Learn about their culture, traditions, and get to know the meaning of their surrounding nature.

Start Time: 11:00 am on the first day
End Time: 16:00 pm on the second day
Your visit to the Mapuche Pehuenche community will start around 11:00 am with a typical Mapuche welcome ceremony. Then, you will have a discussion about the history and traditions of these people.
After a lunch in a typical Mapuche house (named Rukas), you will get to try the local maté while learning about its meaning for The Mapuche. Then you will take a walk in a forest of thousand-year-old Araucarias trees where you will learn about the Mapuche’s relationship with nature. Afterwards you will go on a trek to weyiltuwe mirador to get a stunning view over lago Galletue.
You are going to spend the evening and night within the community, and on your second day you will take another trek, this time on Lifkan mawida sendero. This will take around 7 hours, and your tour will end after that around 16:00 pm.
