Local guides have been planning this experience for over a year to be optimized for eclipse viewing and enjoying a challenging but fun hike up Chile’s most famous volcano. Situated 9,318 feet (2840 m) above sea level and famous for still being an active volcano, Villarrica – also known as Ruka Pillan in the language of the Mapuche – attracts climbers and hiking enthusiasts yearly in the city of Pucon, Chile. Take on the experience of a lifetime with a local alpinist and climb up the volcano of Villarrica. Your guide will take you on an adventure that will stimulate all your senses and give you access to some of the most beautiful views in all of Chile.
