Villarrica National Park boasts spectacular landscapes and abundant biodiversity — from pumas, to foxes, to mountain monkeys, to endemic birds found nowhere else on Earth!
On this full day Villarrica National Park hike, travel along an old international pass bordering Chile and Argentina. The circuit follows lush temperate forests, along Andean lagoons, and to the base of the Lanín Volcano! Enjoy lunch on the trail with remarkable views of the towering volcano and the surrounding landscape.

Begin your tour at 9:00 am with a welcome meet-and-greet and transfer to Villarrica National Park. Upon arrival to the park, your bilingual guide will check-in at the ranger station and you’ll begin your hike!
Your hike will follow an old international pass between Argentina and Chile, and the circuit will take you right to the border of these two countries. Pass along lush forests and high mountain lagoons, and enjoy spectacular views of the Andes and surrounding volcanoes throughout the day.
For lunch, you’ll stop at a spectacular locale nestled between the base of the towering Lanín Volcano and Carilafken Lagoon. Explore the area and enjoy the sight before looping back to the trailhead. You’ll begin your trip back to Kurarewe by 14:30 and arrive by 17:00 pm.
