Hike through the middle of the native forest on an isolated trail, and visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. An experience for those who want to go where few people have been. This is an intense hiking trail, with a 4-night camping trip in tents.
You’ll have the opportunity to listen to the sounds of the forest and experience vibrations that emanate from the spirit of the forest. The beginning of this trail is located at the foot of the Serra, located northwest of Roraima. During the trek, we can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Roraima region with its mountains, lakes, and buritizais along the route. The region is surrounded by natural beauties, forest, flora, and fauna. A very beautiful and off-the-beaten-path destination.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
The level of difficulty of the trekking is considered AVERAGE.
The trek is carried out in terrain that is a little rough and does not require adaptation of the climate nor the use of vertical techniques. This activity is possible for most people, but be aware that the reality of the trail is quite tiring and physical wear and tear is guaranteed.
Duration: 5 Days / 4 Nights
Start/ End Location: Boa Vista
Miscellaneous: Level of difficulty: Average
Day 1: Boa Vista / Base / First camp
Departure from Boa Vista early in the morning for a trip of approximately 03 hours, until arriving at our place of destination of the first day. After meeting the guides, we will organize the beginning of the trekking, which will begin around 10:00 am. The trekking area is in a low region, however since we will be walking in a valley between the mountains there are many climbs, descents, and crossings of some streams. The walking time will be approximately 6 hours at a reasonable pace. There is no extreme level of difficulty for access, however it is quite tiring. Sleep in a double tent as you enjoy dinner and take the evening to relax.
Day 2: First camp / Second camp Oásis
After breakfast, we’ll begin our hike at 8:00 am. At the very beginning, cross the river continue walking in the direction to get out of the forest. We’ll then begin walking through an open area, with lower vegetation towards the site of our next camp. We’ll arrive at the campsite in the afternoon and enjoy the spot for the rest of the evening.
Day 3: Camp Oásis / Urubú-Rei waterfall / Camp Oásis
Start hiking only with a day pack as we will be spending the night in the same campground and can leave overnight gear there. This route will no longer be in the interior of the forest, but in the lavrado (low vegetation). Trek for approximately 1.5 hours before reaching the top of the Urubú-Rei Waterfall, dazzling with scenery worthy of adventure films. After lunch, start hiking back towards the camp and relax for the rest of the afternoon.
Day 4: Camp Oásis / Camp on the riverbank
After breakfast, start hiking back on the same route you came in on. After about 6 hours of hiking and crossing the riverbank, you’ll have the afternoon to enjoy the end of the day in the jungle. This overnight will allow a good experience to listen to the sounds of the forest and experience sensations and vibrations that emanate from the spirit of the woods.
Day 5: River camp / Base / Boa Vista
On the last day, you’ll enjoy a hike back at a relaxing pace. Lunch will be offered by our hosts, and then you’ll board the company vehicle and be back in Boa Vista by 6:30 pm.
