Day 1: Discover Manaus 

A driver will be waiting for you at Manaus Airport to bring you to your hotel. The first activity of the day will be a city tour of Manaus. Manaus is a city which has a rich heritage and an interesting history. You will get to see Adolpho Municipal Market Lisboa, Orla Portuaria, the famous Amazonas Theater, and Largo de São Sebastião. 

Day 2: Sail to the Meeting of Waters

After breakfast, you will go to the Port of Ceasa to do a river tour. On this tour, you will get to see the incredible Meeting of Waters where Rio Negro and Solimões River meet without getting mixed. You will then continue your boat tour with the Amazon River, which is the largest river on the planet. You will see from the distance floating buildings: homes, churches, restaurants, schools, and shops. After that, you will actually take a regional lunch in one of those floating restaurants. You will also have some time to buy handcrafted objects and souvenirs while visiting the Tatuyio Indians Community. 

Day 3: Immerse in the scenic landscapes

On this day, you will see the stunning nature of Presidente Figueiredo. In the morning, you will go to the Cave of the Maroaga as well as the Cave of Judea where you will walk and enjoy amazing landscapes. After a 3-km walk, you will immerse yourself in the Sanctuary Waterfall. After lunch in the city, you will go to Iracema Falls where you will discover caves and relax to the sound of the waterfalls.

Day 4: Know about the charms of Presidente Figueiredo

You will start off your day with a moderate level hiking trail in the forest. You will observe cave paintings and natural beauties. After lunch, you will go to Pedra Furada Waterfall. Afterward, you will go back to the city where you will have some time to buy handicrafts and souvenirs from the Wimiri-Atroari Indians.

Day 5: Start your trip to Boa Vista

After breakfast, you will embark to Boa Vista, in Roraima State. On your way to Boa Vista, there will be the National Park of Viruá. This park was created to preserve the natural ecosystems of the south of Roraima. The park is home to incredible fauna and flora such as buriti palms, açaí, jauari and species threatened with extinction like jaguars, the suçuarana and the tapir. If you want to visit this park, you can do it upon request in advance. You will arrive at Boa Vista at the end of the day and you will be taken to your hotel. 

Day 6: Discover Boa Vista

At 8:00 am, you will start a city tour in Boa Vista that will last 3 hours approximately. After lunch, you will do a tour on Rio Branco. After that, you will have some time to enjoy the happy hour at Orla Taumannan before going back to your hotel.

Day 7: See Mount Roraima

After breakfast, you will go Pacaraima which is located at the border between Brazil and Venezuela. After your lunch, you will take a vehicle to the Indigenous Community of Paraitepuy where you will finally see the impressive Mount Roraima. On your way back to Pacaraima, you will make a stop at the Jurassik Park Viewpoint where the opening scenes of Jurassik Park were filmed.

Day 8: Visit the Bananal Indigenous Community

Living the connection between the locals and you, this is the kind of experience that you will have in Bananal Indigenous Community. You will learn about their history, local culinary art, and culture. After lunch, you will go to Serra do Tepequém or “Big Hat”, as Community call it. You will see changing landscapes on Serra do Tepequém road. You will be traveling among savannah and rivers.

Day 9: Marvel at the prettiest waterfalls in the region

You will spend the whole day visiting several waterfalls. You will start visiting Cachoeira do Paiva which is one of the prettiest falls in the region. Then, you will visit the Barat Waterfall before lunch. In the afternoon, you will see the waterfall Cabo Sobral and Black River before going back to your hotel for dinner.

Day 10: Say bye to your Brazil Road Trip

You will eat breakfast at your hotel. After your checkout, you will go back to Boa Vista. Then, the driver will transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule.

Important Notes

  • The itinerary may be modified according to the weather conditions and/or reasons beyond our control.
  • To cross the Venezuelan border, you will need your original passport, duly accompanied by the International Certificate of Vaccination (stating vaccination against yellow fever at least 10 days before the trip). 
  • Cancellation policy: If you cancel your trip more than 30 days before the start date, you will get a 90% refund. If you cancel your trip between 30 and 21 days before the start date, you will get an 80% refund. Between 21 and 8 days, the cancellation fees will be higher. You will get no refund if you cancel less than 7 days before the start date.
