This tour is a wonderful to discover Uyuni Salt Flats on a local perspective. Apart from seeing breathtaking landscapes, you will get to know the local culture and way of life.
On this 2-day tour you will cross entirely the unique Uyuni Salt Flats, and see some of its best sights. From the Train Cemetery to the Salar and its local communities, you’re on for an unforgettable Bolivian experience!

Your expedition will start at 10:00 am in Uyuni. Your first stop will be the Train Cemetery where you will get to know a little about the mining history of Bolivia. Then you will visit the town of Colchani, and an active salt factory. You will be able to discover a glimpse of the life of the people who live on the banks of the Salar. Then you will dive into the white desert to get away from all forms of human life!
You will head towards the north, and have lunch in the desert. After that, you will visit the communities that live near Tunupa Volcano, where you will spend the night. You will afterwards go on a small trek on the volcano until reaching the viewpoint of the salt flats. At night, you can go on a tour to see the stars (optional).
On your second day you will get up early in the morning for a bike tour (optional). You are going to visit a secret place where your driver will be waiting for you to then take you to the Salar center.
You will visit the Incahuasi Island before going to the small towns of Sinalaco, Cuye and San Pedro de Quemes. After lunch you will go again to the Salar to end this adventure with an outstanding sunset.
