Visiting Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires will be the adventure of a lifetime. This adventure will begin in the Ibera Marshlands where you will do several activities for 4 days. After that, you will go to Iguazu for the rest of your trip.
In Iguazu, you will see the Bird Park with more than 900 birds, butterflies, and other animals. Obviously, you will also appreciate the powerful Iguazu Falls, especially while doing a boat ride in the Iguazu National Park Reserve.

Day 1: Settle down in the Ibera Marshlands
You will be transferred from your hotel to Buenos Aires Airport, where you will take your flight to Posadas. Your guide will be waiting for you at Posadas Airport. You will then take an air taxi or a regular 4×4 vehicle to reach the Ibera Marshlands. Upon arrival, you will meet local hosts who will tell you a bit more about the Conservation Land Trust organization and its objectives.
For your lunch, you will enjoy a meal fully cooked with organic vegetables from the orchard. You will eat typical Argentinian dishes.
Day 2 & 3: Spend some time with the local people in Ibera Marshlands
You will be able to do a whole range of activities in Rincon del Socorro. However, the activities will be programmed according to the time and weather conditions. Upon arrival, your guide will give more details to you about the schedule. The different activities are the following: horseback riding, boat trip, night safari & hiking.
You will also get the opportunity to talk with the locals and discover their traditional way of life.
Day 4: Let’s go to Puerto Iguazu
You will take the air taxi to go back to Posadas Airport. There, you will meet your English-speaking guide for the transfer to Puerto Iguazu. On your way to Iguazu, you will pay a visit to the Jesuits Ruins of San Ignacio Mini, which is a World Heritage Site.
Day 5: Go to the Brazilian side of the falls
While walking along the river for 1.2 km, you will have some breathtaking views over the falls. Then, you will reach a bridge that will bring you closer to the famous Devil’s Throat. After this stop, you will also visit the Parque das Aves to appreciate the diversity of local birds.
Day 6: Visit Iguazu Falls
You will spend a whole day exploring different sections of the Iguazu Falls. You will walk, or more precisely, climb a lot of stairs to the lower falls. You will enjoy a few panoramic views of the upper falls. Then, you will walk to the Devil’s Throat. Afterward, you will take a boat to go on some rapids and under the falls.
Day 7: It’s time to leave Iguazu
You will be transferred to the airport where you will take your flight back to Buenos Aires. Unless you wish to make your way to the Northwest of Argentina to discover the amazing Andean culture.
