Spend a day and night rowing, eating, and taking in the beautiful sunrise and sunsets of the island.
Tigre Argentina, a city located 30 km northwest of the capital, Buenos Aires, is the intersection of two distinct geographic systems. The plains, also known as “pampa ondulada” (undulated pampa), and the delta of the Parana River. In relation to the pampas, Tigre is located in the lowlands met by water streams that feed into the Plata River. The geography of Tigre make it a perfect destination for rowing.
The sport of rowing was introduced to Tigre Argentina during the end of the 19th Century by members of the British community that had settled in the country. Since then, rowing has continued to grow in popularity throughout the country, and Tigre has become a hot spot for the sport.
You will begin the day by meeting your guide at Tigre St. before getting on the water and starting your trip. You’ll head out into traffic and row next to cozy homes along the river where you’ll enjoy some homemade Argentinian dinner with your host. (A vegetarian option is available upon request). Later on, enjoy a nice evening stroll, some night rowing, or relaxing on the deck.
The next day, after breakfast, feel free to spend the morning practicing yoga, swimming, sunbathing, etc. You’ll row back to the boat warehouse around 1pm.
