This one-week tour is an amazing opportunity to discover some of the best sites of Argentinian Patagonia. You will be able to see an outstanding wildlife, some unforgettable landscapes, and get to know the local culture.
This journey will enable you to discover the charms of Atlantic Patagonia: the Patagonian steppes, the desert flora and the incredible variety of the local fauna. In Punta Tombo, you will be able to see the most important penguin colony in Latin America.
Another stop will be El Calafate, where you will get to see much more than the famous Perito Moreno glacier. You will go on a non-traditional excursion through the route of ancient ranches.
In Bariloche (in the Andean Patagonia region), you will walk through some beautiful forests in Nahuel Huapi National Park. In Colonia Suiza, you will be able to meet a family descendant of Swiss-French immigrants. You will be able to learn how they make local craft beer, and this will, of course, be followed by a beer tasting.
At the end of this trip, you are going to take Route 40 towards the famous Seven Lakes Road, where you will be able to enjoy the views of mirrored lakes, forests and waterfalls before reaching San Martin de los Andes. An unforgettable Patagonia vacation!

Day 1: Welcome to Argentina
You will first have an appointment to receive the vouchers for your trip. After that, you will take your flight to the city of Trelew. There, you will be transferred to the city of Puerto Madryn, and have a free afternoon to explore the city. The beginning of your Patagonia vacation!
Recommendation: In the afternoon we suggest visiting the beach and the center of the city, where you will be able to taste some sea delicacies.
Day 2: Peninsula Valdés and Whales watching navigation
In the morning you will go on a group excursion to the Peninsula Valdes. You will be able to see some penguins, sea lions, and seals on the way. The excursion includes a visit of an Interpretation Center and later (depending on the weather conditions), you will go on a boat tour for an observation tour of southern right whales. You will be able to see the whales swimming in the waters of the Valdés Peninsula (between June and December). The captain and his crew will tell you about the coast, its ecosystem and the life of these giant marine mammals. At the end of the day, you will go back to Puerto Madryn.
Day 3: Welcome to El Calafate
You will go to Trelew airport to take your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival, you will take a transfer to the hotel in the city. You will then have a free afternoon to explore the city.
Day 4: Welcome to Los Glaciares National Park
On this 4th day, you will go through the old Route 15. You are going to cross the Patagonian steppe with glacial signs and estancias. Your destination will be Estancia Nibepo Aike, where you will take a walk in its rural environment and enjoy a barbecue.
After that you will navigate through the South and the Rico arm, to finally visit the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier. You will disembark at Playa de las Monedas, before walking through a lenga forest towards the South Glacier viewpoint. Later on that same day you are going sail to “Bajo de las Sombras”, to see the footbridges and be right in front of the glacier (this takes around 2 hours).
In the afternoon, you will go back to El Calafate.
Day 5: Welcome to Bariloche
You will take a flight from El Calafate to Bariloche, and then a transfer to your hotel in the city. There, you will have a free afternoon to explore the city.
Day 6: Excursion to Nahuel Huapi National Park
Today you will go on an excursion to Nahuel Huapi National Park. After seeing the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi you will reach the beginning of the path inside Llao Llao Municipal Forest. There, you will be able to enjoy the nature of the place, as well as the flora and fauna. After this walk, you will meet a family that are the descendants of Swiss-French immigrants, who live in Colonia Suiza. They are dedicated to the gastronomic field, and they will tell you everything about the elaboration of craft beer that you will taste afterwards.
Duration: The walk through the forest is simple and lasts approximately one hour.
Day 7: On the route of The Seven Lakes Road
In the morning you are going to take the Route 40 towards the famous Seven Lakes Road, on the way to Villa La Angostura, a small mountain village that is part of the path of mirrored lakes, forests and waterfalls. You will then continue your trip along the route while enjoying the panoramic views before reaching San Martin de los Andes, where you will spend the night.
Day 8: End of the trip
You will be going to the airport of San Martín de los Andes (Chapelco), where you will take your flight back to Buenos Aires. This will be the end of this unforgettable Patagonia Vacation!
