You can find an authentic experience by searching through our database of tours and activities on the site. You can search by location (region, country, city/town) or by activity category.
Booking an experience through Keteka is easy. Simply choose the date(s) that you would like to reserve, indicate the number of people that will participate on the tour, then hit the “BOOK” button at the bottom of the page. At this point you will be directed to our secure payments page where you will be able to complete your transaction.
Payments can be made via:
PayPal
Credit/Debit Card
Direct Transfer/ACH
Your account will not actually be charged until your tour is confirmed. Tour confirmations typically occur within 24-48 hours. Once your tour is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with an attached invoice, and any additional necessary information concerning your tour.
If you need to cancel, that is usually not a problem. You can cancel your reservation up to 4 days in advance and receive a 100% refund. If you cancel between 24 hours and 4 days in advance, you will receive a 50% refund. Within 24 hours of your reservation, the activity is non-refundable. Transaction fees will be deducted from all refunds. Note, however, that many tours have unique cancellation policies (for example, sometimes tour operators incur costs in order to prepare for the tour, which are non-refundable). The cancellation policy expressed on the tour page overrides our general policy outlined above.
In the event that the guide does not show up or has to cancel at the last minute, the traveler will receive a 100% refund.
Keteka offers the ability to select and book activities ahead of time. This reduces risk, and offers more points of contact with your tour guide before you arrive for your tour. You also don’t have to worry about withdrawing and carrying cash.
Your safety is the number one priority of the Keteka team. By using our site, you significantly reduce the risk of having a bad experience, because you are able to research and communicate with the tour operator prior to your arrival in country. That being said, Keteka does not run nor own the tours on the website. For more information on liability see our Terms and Conditions.
Submitting your experience on the site is free and easy. Simply email us with your name, a description of your tour, and expressed interest at info@keteka.com. Once we have received your request we can start the process of getting your tour on Keteka. We normally respond to such inquiries promptly (within the hour).
It is free to get your experience published on Keteka! We charge a 30% commission fee on top of your suggested price for each booked traveler.
We will send your payment within 24 hours after the tour is completed. Depending on which payment method you specified, payment may arrive instantly, or within a few days.
You will be paid by the method that you indicate during the setup of your tour page:
Direct Transfer
Paypal
Other (i.e. Western Union, etc.)
If the traveler does not show up and does not cancel within the standard cancellation parameters (more than 24 hours in advance) you will receive full payment for the tour.
In certain cases you may set up a strict cancellation policy wherein which you may set the requirements and procedure for cancelling a tour.
You can best promote your experience by frequently updating your profile page on the site. If you would like to make an update to your tour profile page, or add new photos, please send the information to info@keteka.com.
Travelers will be able to submit reviews of your tour, which will be featured on your page. Remember to encourage your customers to rate and review your tour on the site once they have completed the tour. Nothing gives credibility to your offering like a stack of 5 star ratings!
